Re: Refresh My Scores not immediately visible

What mechanism are you using to replace the file? I see this after saving a replacement file to my DropBox, then using the DropBox function Export->Open in->iGigBook. The file immediately opens in iGigbook and all is well. However when I look at My Scores, there is often a duplicate entry under tha...

Re: Strange thumbnail preview with The Book

The PDF you have is probably missing pages 205-206. The PDF I have is missing those pages and I get the same result in My Scores as you do. "The Book" has some of the worst looking charts imaginable. Agreed, it's not very good. But we use it for some oddball tunes. Mine is not missing 205-206, or r...

Refresh My Scores not immediately visible

This is probably already known, but just in case there’s some issue at my end: Whenever I refresh My Scores, I must first switch views (e.g. to the Book List) and then return to My Scores to see everything fully updated. In particular, when I replace a file with another of the same name, after a ref...

Strange thumbnail preview with The Book

When referring to The Book via the book list index or Song Search, all my links work correctly. However, when adding songs via the Set Manager, the song My Tani (p 483) and all subsequent pages have their thumbnail preview off by one page. At first I thought a page must be missing, but no. When I fo...

Re: Separator entries in set lists

Since you're doing all of this prep work, you could easily create a PDF that has instructions vs music. The first item could have instructions of what to do for the 1st set and you would repeat the process for each set, where they would all have an "instructional" entry prior to the list of songs f...

Re: Separator entries in set lists

The Gig Set viewer allows you to swipe left or right to access the next or previous set, have you tried using that? Ah, you mean creating a separate set list for each set on a given job. Yes, that would make it easy to move from set to set, but it would require creating a lot more set lists, and it...

Re: Alphabetical Title Sort in Song Search Results?

The strategy I would use in situations where I'm more interested in results from bookmarks would be to use the search in My Scores first and if a hit isn't found use the Song Title search. Thanks, yes I sometimes do this, but in general I do want to see the whole range of choices at once. I'm not *...

Separator entries in set lists

Here is a use case I face many times every month. It would simplify things if I could put separator entries in my set lists -- like "SET 1 6:30" "SET 2 7:45" "SPARES" "HOLIDAY TUNES" Here's how I would use it. When I assemble a set list for a job, it usually consists of two, three, or four sets, plu...

Re: Alphabetical Title Sort in Song Search Results?

May I add another comment on why this would be useful? Apparently, search results are collected by scanning indexes first, and then bookmarks. This can leave big separations between tunes with the same name, especially when searching for a partial name. When searching for tunes, I generally enter on...

Re: Distributing bookmark files?

And let me reiterate that we're finding the existing bookmark support excellent, convenient, and practical. Indexing has some additional advantages, of course, but for many "second tier" resources such as band-specific books, bookmarks do the job. They let us search for songs by title using Song Sea...
