Re: Igigbook stopped when a dot is entered in song search

When sending the critical file to your support-ID, I always get the message: inbox full. Tried several times. Anyhow, after restoring this song file under a different name, I could not force the error anymore. Thanks for your great support.

Re: Igigbook stopped when a dot is entered in song search

I think, I found a song pdf file that caused problems. Without this one, searches with 'e.' seem to be ok. Since I cannot attach PDF files, I will send it to you directly by email

Re: Igigbook stopped when a dot is entered in song search

Ok, thanks, will install the next version. Clearing program data is not the liked solution, but without clearing, igigbook will not start again, probably since the search record will be kept somewhere. Is there a way to clear the search record, so that clearing all data and resynch ist not required?...

Re: Igigbook stopped when a dot is entered in song search

Another observation: When searching for a dot in song search, I get many songs. When scrolling through the list, Igigbook stops when I have reached the very end of the list. But it can be restartet without problem.

Re: Igigbook stopped when a dot is entered in song search

Just saw your recommendation not to use a dot for search. Of course i do not. But I am afraid to accidentially run into this problem during a gig or session, and cannot recover from this w/o WLAN connection.

Re: Igigbook stopped when a dot is entered in song search

I have also tried with 'My songs search': searching afor '.' returns all songs, which is ok. 'E.' returns all songs containing 'e.' plus a couple of lines with lots of questionmarks and some characters that look like cord symbols. Seems to be a kind of error-message, but does not stop igigbook. Coul...

Re: Igigbook stopped when a dot is entered in song search

Hi,
thanks for your support. The crash does not occur with a comma, but it crashes with a star '*' in the search box.

I do not know what you mean by stock or custom ROM. I have no ROM attached to the device. Please explain further, thanks...

Re: Igigbook stopped when a dot is entered in song search

I am not aware, that I have created an own index. The problem shows up by just typing a dot in the search field. I also remember having problems with stopped igigbook in the beginning after folder rescan, when I had added pdf files of own songs into the igigbook folder, and some of them had dots in ...
