Re: DD Gigbook and iGigbook

Just my two cents, the stylus markup would be killer upgrade. I would pay a princely in-app purchase for a feature like that.

Also, with all due respect and perhaps it's only nostalgia for a simpler time, but I like the old icon too!.

I love being able to /export print a single tune

Being able to export a single tune is a fantastic labour saving tool, I love it!

Print one tune when you need it,

Being able to share the exported file by Airdrop is cool too.

This feature and the landscape have made the app extremely functional.

Well done,

Happy User

Re: Scan straight to iGigbood with Scanner Pro

I had a look at the Scanner Pro App, I do not see any setting for resolution. It has a page size feature that I have set to Auto. Everything else is set to default. THere are no options in the Settings Menu for this either. I just gave it another try and works a treat. My ipad is a 4, I have the 9.3...

Scan straight to iGigbood with Scanner Pro

I have had great success with a App called Scanner Pro. If a cat has a new chart at the gig, it is quite easy to find a lit spot and use the Scanner Pro App to scan the page (snap a pic) to a PDF then, when you Save it, you can use the Open In option to Open the PDF in iGigbook. Now it in your My Bo...

Auto Full Screen

Feature idea. So for the millionth time I got to the bottom of the chart to find that I can't read the bottom notes of the staff on the last line of the pdf because the page needs to be full screened to display the bottom properly. I keep trying to train myself to remember to tap to full screen the ...

Landscape Mode - Fantastic

Just a note to say how great the landscape mode is. A couple of the bands I play in use a few two page charts and it is so easy now compared to the old way that I just smile every time I rotate the pad. Love it!

Landscape Odd Behavior

I just noticed something with the landscape viewing after the last update. When I have a chart up portrait mode and swivel the ipad to landscape I only get a single page on the right side. If I touch the lower third, the page advances and I get two pages side by side, if I go back to the first page ...

Re: Improved Usage Idea

Thanks for the reply, I am usually pretty good with the search text but have run into the issue I needed the apostrophe, I probably didn't use the best example.

The Swipe up trick is a good, will remember that for sure that makes it a lot easier.

Thanks

Improved Usage Idea

Greetings all, love the app, use it every week on gigs. One thing I find a bit cumbersome is quickly searching for songs that have apostrophes in the title, like "I Can't Get Started etc." On the iPad of course you have to go to the go to the numeric menu to get the apostrophe character. Might it be...
