So, the reinstall solution seems to have somewhat fixed the crashing issue, but it's running slowly. I'm sure keeping the app open at the gig will help. What import method are you using and from what storage provider?
Can you email(select tool icon from book list view to get email address) us a dropbox or google drive link that does not require a login containing 1 of the PDF files you are having an issue with?

You can edit any song and then select a composer that you have already added from the drop down list or add one that doesn't exist in the list.
