Re: Alphabetical Title Sort in Song Search Results?

Yes, after syncing all three devices with the content manager, book titles are now all listed in the same, random order. That is an improvement. I’d still prefer to see them listed alphabetically. I hope you can fix that in a future update.

Re: Alphabetical Title Sort in Song Search Results?

I’m not seeing any change with version 5.5.1. Book titles are still in random order on the different iPads. I agree it usually takes less than 15 secs to pick out the correct version, but it’s still annoying. And if you have more than 20 versions of the same tune, and have to scroll to see them all,...

Re: Alphabetical Title Sort in Song Search Results?

I’m the band leader on a gig. I play sax. I give my bass player one of my iPads, the piano player the 2nd iPad, and I keep the 3rd one. I like to be spontaneous, so there’s no set list, I just call what I feel like playing. We play a couple of familiar tunes, then I call an unfamiliar one. There mig...

Alphabetical Title Sort in Song Search Results?

iGigBook does not sort book titles alphabetically when it returns song search results. I might have ten versions of the same song from various book titles, but they are listed in a random order. I have 3 different iPads and the song results are listed in a different order on each iPad. It would be u...

Re: iGigBook Version 2.54 Now Available

After syncing with the server, I noticed no change whatsoever in the One Book Mode. I experienced the same successes and failures as before with this set list. Volume 112 Cole Porter is a 50 page index with an 8 page offset that I created in the content manager. All the page numbers and page counts ...

Re: iGigBook Version 2.54 Now Available

Here's the set list, the indexes, and the detail of what happens when I tap. Success means it goes to the next song in the set list. Failure means it goes to the next song in the PDF. Behavior is consistent. When I do it again I get the same results every time. Shadow of Your Smile - Jazz Chord Char...

Re: iGigBook Version 2.54 Now Available

None of the songs in the set list are from My Scores, they are all songs from indexed books. Clicking on the song title in the set list always brings me to the correct song. Tapping on the bottom of the song brings me to the next song in the set list only about half the time.

Re: iGigBook Version 2.54 Now Available

In the Settings App under iGigBook is a setting under GIG SET VIEWER called "One Book Mode" which is disabled by default. You have to enable this for the feature to work. I enabled the One Book Mode. This feature does not work consistently. I loaded a set list of about a dozen tunes into the set vi...

Re: Adding Song Titles in Content Manager

I noticed you have already made the requested improvement - you have fixed the book index drop down list to default to the last entry, just like I requested. Also, I tried your tip of typing the first few letters of the composer name in the drop down list; that works very well, usually I only need t...

Adding Song Titles in Content Manager

When adding Song Titles in Content Manager, there is a blank field for adding the composer information. However, after manually typing in the composer name, it doesn't "take" when the song is added, unless it is a new composer. To enter a composer name previously entered, it only "takes" when I use ...
