Bulk upload status?

01-15-2013 08:05 PM The Bulk Upload Feature is unavailable until further notice. I am most surprised to see this. I don't see any other explanation, unless I'm overlooking something. Can you amplify? Does this mean that manual entry is the only option moving forward? I just spent about six hours pr...

Re: "Rate it" nags

Ah, I hadn't realized these only occurred after updates. I thought they were just time-based. Like many users I have so many app updates that I don't always notice when there's a new iGigBook pending. Here's a suggestion: turn the nag (negative) into a benefit (positive) by posting a message that sa...

Re: Landscape mode

For me, the key thing is simply being able to operate with a rotated iPad, as with most other iPad aps. It's easy to picture other bells & whistles (two-page display, sidebar display of set list, sidebar display of song index/search, etc.) but really the key thing is just to be able to use the devic...

"Rate it" nags

I wish I could turn off the "rate it" nags that appear from time to time. I have rated iGigBook, I think it's great, but I don't like nagware. Just a suggestion. Or perhaps there's already a way to do this?

Re: Can't bulk upload index entries with no composer info

I did a bulk upload x 3, correcting some stuff, now I have 3 entries for each song. Is there any way to just delete the index and start over? If you really shoot yourself in the foot (e.g. by uploading three times :D ) you have the option of deleting the book entirely and starting from scratch. Phi...

Re: New set list often missing from set list viewer

Here's another clue, just in case it's not clear what's happening. I created a set list, then deleted it. I later created a new set list. The new one didn't show up in Set List Viewer, as described above; but the old deleted one did show up! The entry for the deleted list pointed to the contents of ...

New set list often missing from set list viewer

I encounter an intermittent problem when adding set lists. I frequently go through this cycle: 1. Create new set list & add tunes 2. Go to set list viewer; new set list is missing from dropdown 3. Kill and restart iGigbook; set list now appears as expected This is not completely repeatable, but it h...

Re: Jazz 1200 in set list -- always in C Major

Yes, there is a problem with adding a chart from the transposing book using the Set List Manager and should be fixed in the next release....I never use the Set List Manager to add charts that transpose because often times the chart I want is not default key and I want to see the chart prior to addi...

Jazz 1200 in set list -- always in C Major

I am having a surprising problem -- I don't think this used to happen. When I choose a "Jazz 1200" tune via "Song search" it is displayed in the correct default key. If I add it to a set list using the '+' button it gets added showing the same correct key. But when I add it to a set list via the set...

Re: Bulk upload composer data

For past upload users, note that this behavior has changed. Previously, it was possible to have an empty composer field. (That's how all my prior uploads were prepared; it was easy for me to create indices by extracting title and page data, but it was not easy to extract composer info.) As a solutio...
