Re: Avoiding orphan entries in email setlists

Great, that sounds logical. I thought we were using a shared index, but it is possible that the index was loaded manually. We did this a long time ago. We HAVE had problems due to capitalization differences in filenames. Any chance that some aspects of PDF handling are case-insensitive but others ar...

Re: Avoiding orphan entries in email setlists

Thanks. I hadn't noticed that the filename was embedded in the setlist file, so ensuring that the names are identical should address that issue. (Looks like there were capitalization issues.) However on further inspection, I now see that most of our problems were with Book List entries that had cust...

Avoiding orphan entries in email setlists

When sharing setlists with bandmates, we frequently wind up with orphaned entries. Can you provide some guidance on how to ensure that our lists match? I believe the problems are with PDFs in 'My Scores'; we do have the same documents and indices on our respective machines, but apparently the system...

Re: Bulk upload status?

Perhaps we will see an app from you one day? Perhaps. :D But then I'd have to go back to working as hard as you do. My intense software days were long before iOS. I don't relish going back to 100 hour weeks; I just mothballed three of my older development systems, and I don't plan to replace them. ...

Re: Bulk upload status?

Why would you not just add pages to the end of the book and add additional index entries? Different reasons. In one case, the whole book is alphabetical, so new entries need to go in the appropriate slice. In another case, it makes more sense to put occasional lyrics, alternate changes, alternate k...

Re: Bulk upload status?

This feature is now available to all but a few individuals. Thank you for restoring this important feature so quickly. From your earlier comments, I had thought this was not likely to come back soon. I also realize that I have been guilty of doing what you are telling us not to do. On several occas...

Re: Bulk upload status?

I hear where you're coming from. There's no date that can be given to you or anyone else, but a post will be made when the Bulk Upload is available again. In the interim, there still is a means of creating a custom index. Just to confirm, you are referring to the ability to add single entries via t...

Re: Bulk upload status?

Security issues, abuse, etc, it needs to be re-thought and re-tooled and could take weeks. The index sharing feature is still available if you have indexes that you want to share with someone, but currently no Bulk Upload. Shoot. I was afraid that might be the reason. Any chance that you could re-a...

Bulk upload status?

01-15-2013 08:05 PM The Bulk Upload Feature is unavailable until further notice. I am most surprised to see this. I don't see any other explanation, unless I'm overlooking something. Can you amplify? Does this mean that manual entry is the only option moving forward? I just spent about six hours pr...

Re: "Rate it" nags

Ah, I hadn't realized these only occurred after updates. I thought they were just time-based. Like many users I have so many app updates that I don't always notice when there's a new iGigBook pending. Here's a suggestion: turn the nag (negative) into a benefit (positive) by posting a message that sa...
