Awesome app!!! Loved it and used it immediately.

Can't currently email PDF complied lists that include items from "my scores".

Also, when a transposable chart is added to a list it defaults to original key. Can you save a transposition?

Cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve,

Can you tell me more about the My Scores situation, I can successfully add an item from My Scores to a set list and that item is included in the resulting PDF. If you do not specifically create a bookmark which allows you to specify how many pages, the exported PDF will only have the page you selected.

I have also successfully viewed a chord chart from the "Jazz 1200" such as "Afternoon In Paris", transposed it to D major and then added it to a set, when I view my set I see the Title with the key "- D Major" tagged on to it in the Gig Set viewer and the Set List manager. Describe what you're doing that's giving you different results.

Sorry to butt in, but I know what he is talking about. I just finished setting this app up for my 80 year old piano teacher. With his current skill in technology, he couldn't get past updating iTunes. This app is great, but difficult to use without experience in simple technology problem solving.

When you add a song from Jazz 1200 in Set List Manager, i.e. search for a song and tap the black oval "add selected song to list," the song is added in the default key.

When you casually browse through Jazz 1200, change the key, and then tap the + symbol on the upper right corner, the song is added in the new key.

I imagine that there is no easy solution to this, because you would have to program a new option to choose a key before adding a song in set list manager. This kind of option would make it even harder for my 80 year old piano teacher to create a set list. Less option is more. I think that it is fine the way it is.

Thanks, I now see what the original poster was referring to and you're right we would have to have a transpose feature that the user could choose a key from if the selected chart could be transposed and there is already a lot going on in the Set List Manager as it is.
