Hal Leonard Books Step 9 - Where's the Book?

Hi Phil,

YES! Thanks! Your last advice got me into Gig Set Viewer and I was able to get the PDF created. Then I went to iTunes and renamed the file (see screenshot).

Just for good measure, although I am not sure exactly what it does, I clicked on the iTunes "Sync" button. But when I look in Book List I see nothing new and nothing which looks like Real Book 6th Edition.

I am so close I can taste it ... but where did the book get to?

Thanks, Bob

The iTunes Sync button has nothing to do with iGigBook. When we refer to sync, it is in the context of pulling index data down from the iGigBook server on to your device.

realbk1h.pdf is now linked to "Real Book 6th Edition" in the Book List view, 1st tab. When you select "Real Book 6th Edition" you should see a list of song titles, select a song title will display the song. If the music that appears is not for the song title selected, that means you haven't set the correct offset which is Step 9.

But that's the thing. The Book List does not have an entry for Real Book 6th Edition. A screenshot is attached. (Just the R section because of the size restriction.)

I dug around a bit and discovered that in my.igigbook.com Real Book 6th Edition is not checked "Active". Is that maybe related?

Thanks for sticking with me on this. Bob

When an item is not marked active that item won't appear in your Book List view. Notice how the "Just Standards Real Book" is checked and also appears in your Book List view.

Thanks for all of your very helpful and prompt responses Phil. I know that it was a struggle for both of us but I really appreciate it.
