Adding a single song to a custom index

Post by jerrymillstein » Wed Dec 16, 2015 12:27 am

I want to add original songs, one at a time, to a custom index. Is that possible? Is there a way to make a custom book one song at a time? Or do you always have to start with a PDF for the whole book?

Sure you can add a single song to a custom index and then build upon that by adding the additional titles and adding the actual songs to the PDF.

Is there any chance that someday there will be a feature that used the Table of Contents that you can create in Adobe along with the PDF?
I maintain several paper books of charts for a couple of groups that I play. Each of them has >>100 song charts sorted by genre in various ways. Every six months or so, I add the new songs and delete the 'dogs' and reprint the books. Several folks in the bands want to use the iGigBook install in their iPads (myself included) for gigs...this would additionally allow us to update our lists more often.
Many of the charts are custom arrangements that I have done, so a songlist from installed PDFs doesn't work.

The online process is just WAY too cumbersome to use in this type of flexible manner.
