Typo in fjfakebk (not yet fixed)

Post by Sousalad » Mon Jun 11, 2018 5:58 am

Hi Phil.

I am still using iGigBook with great success. It is a superb problem. I have only had very minor problems with using it, and never had a problem on a gig.
I know that there are several errors in the fjfakebk (Firehouse Jazz Band Fakebook) index file, and have got rid of almost all problems by regular syncing. There is a typo in the index, however, which means that one tune doesn't show up when you search for it. As I can't edit this file, perhaps you would like to put it right, ready for syncing. the tune in question is "Tia Juana", which is in the index as "Tta Juana". Not a tune that comes up very often, but when it does, it would be nice to find it quickly.

Best wishes,

John Elliott, London, England :?:

Thanks for the report. Search for "Juana" in the meantime.

Typos - We're all guilty.

Hi again, Phil.

In my post earlier today about a typo in the Firehouse Jazz Band index, I made my own typo - sorry. I had come up with the solution you suggest (search "Juana"), but thought it worth posting about it, so that others could deal with it. Nothing worse than holding up a gig searching for the chords.
