Problem with creating my own book Index

Post by pianoman » Tue Oct 16, 2018 11:53 pm

My book has 378 pages with 900+ songs. The index which I created works flawlessly, with one exception. At least 50% of composer names have disappeared and are now listed as N/A.

When I check the iGigbook Content Manager, under Song Titles, I see each and every song and composer. Then on my ipad, I press Refresh in Book List to update the index. The song titles are all there, but once again, 50% of composer names have disappeared and now are listed as N/A.

Any ideas?

Composer data does not disappear, what you added and I assume you used bulk upload to do it, is what you're seeing.

Thanks Phil for your help in this matter. I did not use bulk upload. I didn't know about it. You are right, in the Content Manager, none of the composer data disappears. It's all there. They just aren't all making it to my ipad.

To create my 900+ song index, I'd type in 150 song titles, plus the composer's last name, the page number, ect.. Then I'd connect my ipad, press Refresh in Book List, and checked to see if everything worked. The next day, I'd type in another 150 titles, composers, ect. and press Refresh in Book List. It was then that I noticed some composers were only listed as N/A. I continued this process until all 900+ songs were entered. The index works fine, but many composer's are listed as N/A. I can live with that, but if you have any suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

You can edit any song and then select a composer that you have already added from the drop down list or add one that doesn't exist in the list.
