I have downloaded the 2.53 igigbook update, and while the search function initially worked well, I now find that the search function is disabled from any sub-menu, including "song search". Additionally, the keyboard cannot be brought up to use search function in the safari browser, with out resetting the IPad Air running iOS 8! I might also add that i just purchased an airturn bt-105..and this device is recognize as a keyboard... I think I'm onto something here. This is unacceptable, how do I return to the previous version of igigbook , or correct this issue?

Does the search function work without the Airturn pedal paired with your device?

If the root of you problem is the keyboard not appearing in iGigBook and Safari, this indicates you have a system wide problem. If these problems occur while the Airturn pedal is connected, keep in mind that the pedal emulates a keyboard which prevents the on screen keyboard from appearing because the iPad thinks you're using a keyboard.

Glitch!? Won't import setlists - Re: iGigBook Version 2.53 N

Can you help? Only since the very last update, I've had a major problem!!

I create set lists and email them to the other iPads our band owns, so everyone has the same. Note, these aren't just the names of the songs as a text file, but the set lists with PDFs charts, so when tapped, will open each chart.

I've been doing this for months - create 3 set lists, name them (set 1, set 2, etc), "share" via email (not as a PDFs, but as an igigbook file (just saying no to off when prompted)... Doing this for each setlist individually.
Then I open the email on each iPad, and tap the igigbook logo within the email..
This always then opened the app and voila, there was the list. Do this for all separate lists, and they'd all be there.

Except now, it MIGHT import 1 or 2 max. I can never import 3 or more. (Which I used to be able to do.)
NOW when I'd click on the icon within the email, it WOULD be open the app, but no set list would appear

So, now I have to manually create 3 setlists per iPad. Frustrating & very time consuming!

One of the times I manually added a set ("set 2" that wouldn't load previously,)to an additional iPad, songs appeared. Basically, I "created a new set", and named it the same name as the one I was trying to import, it automatically filled in with all of the songs, and in the proper order, even linking to the proper charts!
What the...?!

To me, that sounds like a major glitch.

This hasn't ever been an issue before, but now it's a BIG ONE.

Please help if you can!

I posted here right after the direct message. I didn't know how quick a response would come and thought if I also posted here, perhaps if other users had the same issue, they might be able to help or find a solution as well.

Version 2.54 should fix the problems that you were having.
