Here's some great news for the Android folks out there. A version of iGigBook will be available for Android 5.0 Lollipop and will have essentially all of the functionality contained in the version of iGigBook that is currently available for iOS. We don't have an exact date, but hopefully it will be before you get that spanking brand new 12-13 inch Android tablet for Christmas.
Been waiting for this for a long time. A couple things: when i click on the transposable charts index all i get is blank pages. I'm logged in, I've cleared the cache several times and re-synced, which led to a second surprise-sync too many times in a day and you get locked out! First, what's up with that? And second, shouldn't that be spelled out in big letters to new users? If it is, I must have missed it.
Try deleting the file jazz1200p1.pdf, which will cause it to download again which should fix your problem.basgitarr wrote:Been waiting for this for a long time. You're not going to be able to continuously sync with our server, pulling down the same data over and over. Syncing doesn't always solve problems and what's usually needed is for one to come forward and ask questions, like you have. This is why there is a lock out, to break the vicious cycle of press, press, press, press so that hopefully the user will show up here on this forum or contact via email. We're more than willing to help.
How many items are in your Book List view? Do have an item in the list titled 'Jazz Chord Charts - Transpose'? You may have to shut your tablet down and then power it back up again before connecting it to a computer and checking the contents of the igigbook folder because there's a bug in windows that sometimes does not show all of the files in the folder.
I'm looking in the folder on the tablet itself and its not there. Last time I was able to look, it was in the index list, and when I selected it, it brought me to the list of songs, composers not greyed-out, but just a white page when I selected a song .But I'm locked out so there's no list right now. How many syncs are you able to do in a day, and is that per calendar day or per 24 hour period?
Are you saying that there's nothing in the list at all? It's just a blank screen? Did you uninstall the app and reinstall it?
Nothing in the book list. Haven't been able to sync since this morning. I don't believe I uninstalled and reinstalled, but I may have tried that. This morning i did clear the cache a couple times and synced.
Oh, I see. Don't clear the cache, unless we specifically tell you to do that. When you clear the cache, you effectively log out of the app and wipe out the index data that's stored in the app. The lock out is a calendar day so after 12:00 am EST you can sync again. You may need to log into the app so that it can pull down the indexes that you have marked as active with would include Jazz Chord Charts - Transpose. If the the number of items isn't grayed out, it means that the old file still there, you will need to delete that for a new one to be downloaded and this isn't something that clearing the cache will remedy.
