Hi,

I was trying to load iGigbook onto a new iPad 2 and could not find it in the App Store. Am I correct in assuming that the review for the new version is the reason why? I'm hoping so because I love the app. I play in two cover bands and a jazz improv group and having the jazz charts transposable is invaluable to me. Keep up the good work and I hope we can get you back soon!

Igigbook is no longer on the App Store how can I therefore update to the new version. The page turner has stopped working.

You can't update to the new version because the new version is still awaiting review by Apple.

As for the page turner, if you're using iOS7 there should be no problem. If you have a 2nd gen iPad and above, I would recommend upgrading to iOS 7. If you have a 1st gen iPad, check your iTunes backup and use version 1.87.

Slow page turns are due to large PDF scans, we are working on optimizing things, version 1.93 address the issue somewhat, and version 1.94 addresses page turn speed even more.

I have an ipad 2 and I have iOS 7. After the update it was working slow and freezing in the set list view. Then it started crashing. I tried a to restore and old update but that just deleted my set lists. All but one. Then I tried a reinstall and it deleted everything. I went back and reinstalled and updated everything hoping to start from scratch but now my table of contents is missing and it's still crashing. I downloaded a real book and changed the name to the correct book index but it still doesn't put it in the book list table of contents because there's nothing there. Of course you cant search either because the table of contents is gone. I have a gig tomorrow night and now it's looking like I'm gonna have to break out the giant books and start copying.

I figured out its only crashing on 2 page songs. Must have something to do with the new page turning function.

Whenever you uninstall the app and documents you have transferred to the iGigBook Documents folder will be lost as will any set lists you have created, any bookmarks you have created, and any annotations you have made. To prevent this you need to back up the iGigBook Documents folder prior to uninstalling and we can't stress this enough. If you don't care about losing that information by all means don't back it up.

We've been looking at this problem with an iPad 2 and have noticed that the icons at the top right do not appear and navigation does not work, however we have noticed that the back button does work. We still haven't experienced the crashes that people are reporting with iPad 2's and greater but have experienced it with the iPad 1's.
