I'm another user experiencing this problem, NYears gig last night was embarrassing, I was playing LH bass and the app crashed 3 times, all at the worst possible moment, if a fix isn't forthcoming I'll be forced to use another app.

What everyone else is describing is a situation where the app just closes with no interaction on their part. Is this what happened to you? If not, if you could provide some details about your situation that would help us help you.

What's the model number of you device?
Are you happy with iGigBook?

This app is useless unless fixed. I find it hard to believe that this problem can't be replicated by the developers. From your last reply to my post, It would appear that nothing can be done and that's the end of it. You have many unhappy customers, who would like to, but can't recommend your app. A real shame. I and others depended on it for professional use. I just can't rely on it anymore. I really want to, but can't. Perhaps you could tell us your iPad configuration. Number and type of apps used. Any suggestions please.

Believe me if we were able to reproduce this, it would be fixed as we do with any problem that's reported. We have an iPad 2 with the current version of iOS 8.1.2. We were able to see this problem in 8.0 but after updating to iOS 8.1.2 haven't seen it since. The same chart is up 5 hours later...believe me I wish it would just spontaneously close, but it isn't. We can't fix a problem we can't reproduce.

What would help is if anyone who is reporting this problem, not just say "the same thing is happening to me", but instead describe the events and circumstances under which this occurs. This provides us with more information that we can use to track it down. We can also understand if people don't want to do that and just move on to another app.

Hi Phil, I have an iPad II, #MC764LL/A, 64gig. have 8.1.2 os. I'll be reading a chart, the screen will go black momentarily and then go to the desktop. Happens at least 1 to 3 times a gig. Good luck. John

I might add that it doesn't happen right away, might not be till the second set, so if you just put one chart up and leave it for 5 hours, you won't see it. John

We're not just putting one chart up, I'm using it on jobs and I'm not seeing it happen. I don't have 3G which you do, hopefully the other folks will chime in with what model number they have.

Just got back from the gig, put the iPad in airport mode to disable 3G and used it for 4 hours with no crash. John

My iPad Air and iPad Air 2 tablets are WiFi only. The crashes I have experienced have happened with WiFi off. They can happen quickly, shortly after starting a set, and can occur more than once. I believe that something must be triggering the crashes. Just can't figure it out. I will keep an eye on this thread. I can't use the app anymore. Hugely disappointing.
