Igigbook closing down

While I am playing music from igigbook book the app suddenly completely closes down making igigbook book unusable.What can I do? Also I still think the page turn is not quick enough.

What model iPad?

What iOS version?

What version of iGigBook?

Do you have wireless on?

What other apps are running in the background?

As for page turns...if you're using a PDF that has a large page size i.e. much larger than the iPad screen, the pages turns are going to be slow because of the size of the page. I'm sure you have observed that some PDF pages turn faster than others, the reason for that is page size and density.

Sorry for delay in replying I am recording an album at the moment.
The iPad model is 4. The iOS is 8.1.2. IGigBook version is 2.60. No other apps are running in background as far as I know. I switch off WiFi and there is no SIM card installed. I use the iPad for mainly sheet music.
Is there a possible update to increase the speed of the page turn?

Your page turning speed is related to the size and density of the PDF page meaning a very large scan, something greater than 1024x768 is going to take longer to load. Typically pages created from a notation program like Finale or Sibelius take less time to load because these programs generate output that is not an image. Pages created from scanning will vary depending on how large the scan is and whether or not gray scale, color or black & white are used.

Phil, I too have this issue. Only on some pages, and not consistent, but some charts will display for awhile and then the app just closes.

Ipad MD371LL/A, OS 8.1.2 (and happened on earlier versions last two updates. IGigbook is latest (2.65) Don't use page turner.

What's your iCloud status? Using? Not Using? Air Plane mode?

I doin't use iCloud, though I do have wifi on. Location is indeterminate, sometimes on,sometimes off. Airplane off.

When we first upgraded to iOS 8 we could reproduce the mysterious app closing and turning off Background App Refresh seemed to be the solution however with the latest version of iOS, we are unable to reproduce this problem no matter how many apps open, WiFi on, Bluetooth on, the music will stay on the screen until the battery is drained. We do not however have a device with 3G/4G.

I would put the device into airplane mode and see if that makes a difference.

Hello Phil, I have the same identical problem with the new version of iGigBook: app crash, still running in background (it seems) but no way to use it. I made everything you toldo other users, also for me app crashes with book uploaded inside! I really cannot use it

iPad 2
ios 7.1

please do something, at the moment I cannot update to ios 8 cause free space problems (cannot reach 4.5GB requested)
