Kindle format file conversion

Post by garysch » Mon Apr 27, 2015 4:30 pm

I purchased the Hal Leonard Real Vocal Book 1, low edition and downloaded the Kindle version. Using Calibre the book was converted to PDF. That process inserted a title page for each song, no matter what settings I used. I think I understand the reason this occurred and opted to continue. When opened in Adobe or Foxit readers, there is a linked table of contents, which works properly, though it does link to the title page requiring a page turn to get to the lead sheet. When that same file is opened in iGigBook, the title page is still present, but the page linking is gone. The TOC doesn't have any page numbers, so using a book like this requires quite a bit of scrolling.

Suggestions from anyone?

Are you saying you opened this PDF from the My Scores view and imported the bookmarks?

I never thought of a table of contents as being bookmarks, but they imported and are working. Thanks.
