Grey area, bottom of page - RESOLVED

Post by diallelus » Tue Dec 22, 2015 1:03 pm

Hi,

Just downloaded the newest version (3.02) to my ipad. Now there's a grey area (containing two arrows and some rectangular thing) at the bottom of the page when I open up sheet music. It doesn't go away at all and it hides the lowest staff of most sheets. Is there any way make the grey area disappear?

What kind of iPad?
Using any bluetooth keyboard devices i.e. page turners?
What keyboard are you using?

There should be something to the right of that bar that dismisses it.

Two solutions:

Settings>iGigBook>BLUETOOTH PEDAL>Enable>Off.

or if you're using a Bluetooth Pedal:

Settings>General>Keyboard>Shortcuts>Off.

ipad 4, no external keyboard, no page turners. Latest ios.

The grey area contains two "rounded" arrows and a some sort of rectangular symbol on the left side. There's nothing on the right side.

Seems like turning keyboard shortcuts off made it disappear.

Thanks Phil, your reply was really fast and informative!

Toolbar at bottom in 3.02?

Post by Bob Emmons » Sun Jan 03, 2016 8:17 pm

Happy New Year all! I have been using igigbook now for a couple of years, and updated the new 3.02 on my 4 year old iPad running IOS 9.2. There is a new toolbar at the bottom on my screen that I can't get rid of, and it is blocking some of my music in the bass clef notes. What is this for and how do I get rid of it? Thanks, Bob

Thanks Phil, resolved by turning the Keyboard Shortcuts off.
