Moving a SMALL Note

Post by BobG56 » Wed Mar 02, 2016 7:18 am

When I've created a small note, like 1-3 characters, which most of my notes are, moving it is difficult because iGigBook thinks I am trying to resize it. I am aiming for the upper left corner but I guess my fingers are too fat. Depending on the location of the note, sometimes in trying to make sure I am not touching in the lower right corner I cause a page flip. I am using an iPad Pro so maybe a pencil can be used to move a note but I have not seen that mentioned.

Is there a solution to my problem?

Thanks, Bob

Try disabling screen taps and then moving the note and then re-sizing it with your fingers or using the note dialog.

Thanks. I didn't know that taps could be disabled. I think I'd prefer to move the note around using arrow buttons in the dialog box. But I can make do with the current interface. Thanks again.

I've had difficulty with small notes too. What I have wound up doing is always moving the note while large, then resizing it in place. I always use the sliders to resize, because trying to do it from the corner rarely gets what I want. I also only recently discovered that you can enter 'edit mode' by a long press anywhere on the page, not just on the note in question. That has eliminated a lot of accidental page turns. Hope this helps.
