First of all THANKS ! It's a needed feature and it's good to see substantial features being added to the product.

I can't wait to use it but it's not on my iPad.

App Store does not show that there is an update available for iGigBook. And there's no red circle with a number in it on the iGigBook icon in my apps menu. (What does that red circle mean by the way?)

Although the new Metronome icon is not in the upper right corner there are two icons there which do not appear in the screenshot you posted in the Metronome feature announcement. What do the two icons on either end mean? (The screen shot was taken in Set List.)

Thanks, Bob

I figured you'd be excited about it, it was one of your feature requests. :D

The version with the metronome hasn't been approved by Apple yet, should be a couple of days.

The red number, is mostly arbitrary and just an indicator that a message indicating iGigBook news has been sent to your device.

The icon descriptions for the PDF view are here: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1234#p6241

Ver 5.0 on iPad Pro - no metronome icon; messed up

I saw an update a day or so ago. And Settings says that I have 5.0 on my iPad Pro. But there is no metronome icon.

Also, and maybe worse, the Set Lists are messed up. I used to have only Favorites and Christmas. Now I have Christmas, Recently Viewed, and New Set List - no Favorites. (Maybe New was there before, I do not recall.) Recently Viewed looks very similar to the Favorites that existed before the update but the order is different. And some things in Recently Viewed I do not recognize. It's hard to tell if everything (that used to be in Favorites) is there (in Recently Viewed) because I had almost 300 songs in Favorites.

My older and smaller iPad also claims to have 5.0 installed and is also missing the metronome icon. I use iGigBook on it very seldom and doubt that I ever created a set list. But it has several set lists now. The first entry in one of them is for a song named "02. How to add a PDF score or book to iGigBook" (can you hum a few bars of that  ) and it claims to be in book "* NEED HELP? TAP HERE!".

There's no metronome icon because you have to enable the metronome using the Settings App. Details are available here.

As for your set lists...

Connect your device up to iTunes and see if you have an item in the IGigBook Documents folder named set_Favorites.plist. If yes, just add a new set named Favorites and it should have populate with the items you had in Favorites. Before creating the set called Favorites, save the set_Favorites.plist to your computer just in case.
