4.2A possible glitch?

Post by rletson » Sat Apr 01, 2017 3:00 pm

When I updated to 4.2A via Play Store, the application opened with a blank screen--just the new logo in the upper left corner, but no menus visible, and no response to any touch anywhere on the screen. I forced a stop, restarted the tablet, but nothing helped. Then I went back into the app manager cleared all the data and it came back to normal--it called the server and the books, indexes, and setlists were intact. I did have to re-enter my username/password, but otherwise all is operational.

Just a data-point--previous updates have gone hitchless.

(BTW: Samsung ST-550 Tab A, Android 5.0.2)

Thanks for the report, Google has created a new packaging scheme and the build was created using it so that may have something to do with it but we'll keep an eye on it. It could also just be a bad update but we're glad to hear you're all set.
