...and from all appearances there is no way to import a .pdf to iGigbook and use it. If there is a way, where is the documentation? I believe I have been through all of it.

You can use Google Drive, Dropbox or any other document provider on your device. You have a Mac, you're going to have to figure out what app you're going to need on your mac that will enable you to access the storage on your Android device. Most Android users are using Windows machines where the storage is readily available once they've connected their device to their machine.

It's not our fault that Apple doesn't provide built-in support for Android devices.

I have been using MobileSheetsPro. It was a surprise that importing is not possible for Mac users. MSP can import directly from any cloud source. MSP indexes fakebooks, but you have to do it manually page by page.

iGigBook also imports from cloud sources, such as Google Drive and Dropbox.

If you're using Mobilesheets and already have PDF files on your device you can copy them using the file manager app on your device to the iGigBook folder.
