transferring content to newer iPad
I just bought a new iPad Pro and restored my old iPad's content via an iCloud backup, and now 55 of my 57 playlists are missing from iGig, along with much uploaded content. How do I fix this? Thank you...also, is there a customer service center I can call? I can't find a number and I would really like to talk to someone about this.

Re: transferring content to newer iPad
I am having a similar problem, I've followed everything and cannot get my old information over to the new iPad. some of the real books will go, and none of the playlists will transfer. I've backed up everything and then used the file transfer window "add" feature to add to new iPad and nothing happens. It says I am logged in to igigbook.
I also tried deleting the entire app and starting over on new iPad, which it then made me purchase another 15.00 app. I'm almost done with this it's too frustrating and moving to another product.
Thanks for any help.

from what I can tell it is only the playlists that aren't transferring. they are not listed as pdf's but .plist, is that the problem?

The instructions in the link above must be followed exactly, especially the first one:
The iGigBook app must not be running in the background when you copy files over or you will have the problem of Set Lists not being recognized. On the new device, install iGigBook. No apps should be running in the background. Double tap the home key and swipe all apps up.

Re: transferring content to newer iPad
I'm sorry but I cannot figure out what step I am doing wrong. I followed everything I believe. All apps including Igigbook are swiped up, i copy all the files, I see them copying to the iPad, including playlists, in the top of the iTunes bar. I launch igigbook, am logged in, sync, and everything is there except all the playlists.
What on earth.... If I can't get these transferred I will have to switch programs which I really don't want to do.

- On the new device, install iGigBook(do not run it). No apps should be running in the background. Double tap the home key and swipe all apps up.
- Using iTunes file sharing (viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1640), copy the contents of the iGigBook documents folder on the old device to a folder on your computer.

So... I have followed the directions to a T, also had someone else do it and the playlists will still not transfer. Everything else transfers except the playlists. I don't get it...

I'm sorry that the instructions aren't working for you. All you can do now is recreate the set list using the Set List Manager.

Re: transferring content to newer iPad
Hi Phil (?),
I did get a new iPad in April, but I realize most of this will be off topic. I couldn't find any relevant topics that weren't locked.
I bought igigbook in 2012, and after loading in the 8 to 10 matching fakebooks that I had, I enjoyed using the program and its search ability. I did not "look under the hood" as they say, even to try and get the "offsets" correct. The past few days I've tried and seem to get stymied, as I am now.
I created a PDF with 160 pages (and the desire to add a lot more) and transferred it to igigbook on my iPad. It's called "EW Sheet Music Book 1" and once on the iPad I renamed it "eshmu01" hoping it would be useful. I also very carefully used the Content Manager to make a very careful Table of Contents/Index. The problem is I don't know, or have forgotten how to hook that up with "EW Sheet Music Book 1." Could I ask for your help with this? I'm sorry I just don't get it.
Thanks so much,
Ed
