login problem (on iPad 2)

Post by prof_leslie_smith_btinternet.com » Thu Dec 28, 2017 1:08 pm

I'm logged in to igigbook on my mac, but I can't seem to get logged in on my iPad (iPad 2, quite old). I put in the same username & password, but it gets rejected as a an Incorrect Username/Email or Password. I've just updated to the most recent version, and I'm trying to update the book list.

Try using the Lost Password feature at http://www.igigbook.com which will provide you with the correct credentials.

OK: so the password on the login on the web and the password on the iPad are different: I have managed to log in on both now. But I still only see a relatively small number of book indexes (for example, I don't see the index for Real Book 2). I've clicked on the arrows to get the indexes synchronised. (And now it tells me that this won't solve the problem, and suggests I use the heart icon to communicate, but I'll try this first!). Hoe you can help.

It is not possible for the password for logging in via the Book List view and my.igigbook.com to be different, however your password for this forum can be different especially if you used the password reset feature of the forum.

If the 2nd item in your Book List view says "Guest Mode Active" it means that you are not logged into the app.

I think i have my head around this now, I need to make more indexes live. But I have (unfortunately) issues with my iPad, and may need to get a new one.

Well, the passwords seem to be different for me: I am using one password for my username on mu mac, and a different one on my iPad. But I'll need to get a new iPad first (currently, I think due to a damage on the screen) it sends random characters from the keyboard to the app, and this ain't helpful.
