Internet required?

Why am I getting "Internet Connectivity Required" when I'm already connected?

More information is required for me to be able to assist you with this. What are you doing when you get this message? If you're connected to the internet are you able to use mobile safari and navigate to websites?

Hi Phil,

I'm having issues with syncing on my BookList for the first time. My connection is solid and Safari is running just fine. I try to syncand it hangs for a while. Then it eventually pops up the "Internet Connection Required!" message.

I hit retry and sometimes it seems like it might work, but then gives me a message to wait 4-6 minutes.

I'm in a loop of it not connecting and then almost connecting and timing out. Is there a known server issue or is it a bad idea to try to sync at 4am for some reason?

It's unlikely, but slightly possible, it is an issue on my end, but safari is working just fine so that seems unlikely...

I don't see a problem with the server, though at that hour there is routine maintenance going on.

Thanks for checking the server and responding so fast. It turns out it WAS on my end! I had an IP conflict with my iPad and computers. This didn't affect Safari, but it did affect my ability to connect to the app store and this server.

As a note for others, try to reset your router and computers and THEN try to resync before you post here :) I bet that will fix it up.
