I have a pdf of the Classic Real Book vol 2 that igigbook can't/won't read. It reports as having 0 pages.
I can read the pdf fine on my desktop, as well as through another app on my iPad. For some reason, igigbook doesn't
like it.
Any ideas?
pdf problem?

Re: pdf problem?
It may have some type of password set to limit editing or printing and is probably why iGigBook is not displaying the pages.

I thought about that, but wouldn't that prevent me from opening it in other apps as well?

No, many apps do not have password awareness, so a PDF that doesn't have open restrictions but print/edit restrictions can be displayed. The tools provided by iOS only allows one to check for a password being set but not what restrictions exist for the document.rick398 wrote:I thought about that, but wouldn't that prevent me from opening it in other apps as well?

Problem solved!
I downloaded a free pdf editor, loaded the offending pdf and re-saved it.
Seems to have fixed whatever igigbook was choking on.

It's good that you were able to resolve that, but I'm curious as to whether or not you were trying to view this PDF as a score in My Scores or in an indexed fashion view the Book List View.

Re: pdf problem?
Both ways, really. When I first loaded the pdf into the app, I changed the name so it went into My Books. When I couldn't get it to work, I deleted the file from my ipad and re-added it under a different name so I could view it under My Score.
No joy either way. The file would just fail to load.
