missing some book indexes

Post by manosuelta » Wed Sep 04, 2013 8:20 pm

Not all of the book indexes listed on my.igigbook downloaded to ipad. My list misses: Thebook, library of jazz musician, pat metheny songbook, ultimate pop rock, new realboks in Bb and some others. How can I add it to the list of book indexes? I have downloaded pdfs and renamed all according to your list, but they are still in my scores list only.

I note that Phil is not into communicating very well. His specialty is no doubt program engineering, but not social engineering. Here's some info that I worked through ...

In the Book List, tap '**TAP HERE FOR HELP' at page top and then swipe to find the 'iGigBook Book Index List' page. That page mentions 'my.igigbook.com' and that is the list on the Internet server that you need to access; it contains four pages at present. If you find your particular volume there, it probably isn't 'active'. You need to select the volume, and check the box that appears when the page communicates with server to make it active. I think this has to be done for each book you'd like to appear in the list, there doesn't appear to be facility to do several books at once. You can also inactivate books that you don't want to appear in your book list by 'unchecking' the particular box. :?

I'm an igigbook newbie, but have seen it in action and it looks very promising. The previous post is helpful. My difficulty is related, but not exactly the same.

There are 86 indices on the current book index list, yet I see only 74 indices in my.igigbook.com "manage my book settings". Missing include many of the Bb/Eb versions, and I have no idea how to entice them to appear in "manage my book settings" so I can set them to display on my iPad and load the pdf. Ironically, the Bb/Eb versions were the primary reason I purchased the app. What am I missing? Thx.

Bb/Eb indexes are no longer available because they are not needed when the C, Bb, Eb and Bass clef version of a PDF all have the same songs on the same pages. The current version of iGigBook allows you to use a single index for C, Bb, Eb, and Bass clef versions of a PDF. This How To post explains to do that:
