Maximum syncs used up, but i havent used any today!

HI,

I just managed to purchase igigbook on the app store for my ipad and have set up the books on my.igigbook.com. I then tried to sync and apparently i have reached my maximun number of syncs for the day! This is the first time I have tried to sync so I am slightly confused...Is there anyway I can get my syncs reset so that I can get my 2 syncs for the next 24 hours?

I have similar problem, but NOT a new device - but a reinstalled iGigBook.
It is only with Book list that "max syncs used up" displays.
My Scores sync works fine - BUT I notice that three of the books on the current book index, but not on my original book index, do not add to indexed songs - but to the unindexed My Scores.

Still finding my way with iGig as I am sure this will be my gig book of the future.
For now using iReal as I have many added tunes and chord charts - but trying to write out a bass line is painful if not impossible.
But it is also painful to go through a whole book of tunes in iGIG.

If you are not seeing the indexes on your device that are marked active in the configuration manager my.igigbook.com and have synced then yes you have not logged in to the app and you would need to follow the steps outlined above to correct that.

If you are seeing the indexes in your Book List View but the pdf appears in My Scores, you have a naming issue. Here's a link to the topic "How To Use iGigbook Indexes"

iRealb has the capability for you to create your own chord charts but it is not a notation app, so yeah, you will not be creating traditional sheet music with it.
But it is also painful to go through a whole book of tunes in iGIG.

This is true if there isn't an index for the book that you have added to iGigBook. All of the other PDF viewer apps do not give you an index option though some can import the bookmarks that are present in a PDF file which iGigBook also does.

The reason iGigBook exists is so that you the user do not have to sift through pages to find a tune.

After two days of 'rest', I tried to resync to draw down the indexes after reinstalling the application. I now have a list of 26 'Book Indexes with 6 Books Present' . Most of the books in my list are not books that I have marked as active in the web menu ...

May I suggest allowing more entries per page on the web menu ... something is slowing the process [and I have a 25MB connection]. I'll have to wait another day now ...
