Review the help section accessible from the configuration screen.

Make sure bluetooth is enabled on both the iPad and the iPhone/iPod Touch.

Make sure there is no pairing to other bluetooth devices such as headphones, speakers, etc.

Do not check for or attempt to pair the iPad and iPhone/iPod via the device settings.

Make sure you are viewing a song page from the Set List Viewer.

iGBPager only connects with iGigBook when you are viewing a song from the Set List Viewer.

iGBPager starts out in the configuration screen, be sure to select "Done" to display the buttons.

Use the gear icon at upper left of the screen to return to the configuration screen.

When the buttons on iGBPager turn from red to green the devices are connected and may take a few seconds.

If no change to the button states are observed, return to the set list and select the song again.

Version 2.1 of iGigBook Pager can now connect to an iPad(3 or greater running iGigBook 2.60 or greater) via Bluetooth Low Energy(BLE). You will need an iPhone 4s or a 5th Generation iPod to use BLE. When connecting via BLE you can turn wireless off. To connect via BLE you will need to go the Settings App of each device and under iGigBook Pager Settings, set BLE to enabled.
