I've been working with Igigbook for a mere 6 straight hours. At this point I have one song indexed, and I can't reconstruct how I got that one to index. I'm emotionally exhausted by trying to figure out how to make this program work. I know I'll get it, because I invested mucho bucks in this iPad so I won't give up til I get it, and my friends are using it and loving it. But don't delude yourself into thinking this process is simple. It's now after 2a.m. and I'm delirious with frustration. I read the forums and they are populated with condescension and scorn for those who don't get it. I feel like I've entered a new world full of sickos. Hopefully in two weeks I'll give this five stars, but today, it isn't worth a freakin penny.

So, I have the ultimate pop rock fake book, and I see that it is listed with a code, but it is not an active index. How do I make it active? The link is not an active link.
Also, in the traing there is reference to "in iTunes, in the upper right or lower left select your device." It may be easy for some, but I can't find iTunes on my ipad. I find an iTunes Radio, but nothing that gives me a choice to select my device. I don't even know what "my device" means. Is my ipad my device?
All this is about trying to activate an index.

Further, if someone responds to this submission, how will I know. How do I get back to this spot on the forum?

"iTunes" is the program that runs on the Mac or Windows via a desktop computer or a laptop, it's the program that transfers music to iPhones, iPods, iPads, etc. iTunes isn't on your iPad, when you connect your device to a computer you can access it's files, back it up and restore it using iTunes. It's best to get familiar with this so that you can back your device up as you'll never know when you may need to restore it.

You have to make a point of remembering or writing down exactly where you posted if you want to follow up on the answer. There is a feature that will send you an email when a topic you have created is replied to, but you did not create this topic.
