Ripped Off by Igigbook

Post by Trompeta 2 » Sun Nov 22, 2015 6:01 pm

For as long as I can remember there are some Fake Books on my Igigbook that do not go to the correct pages when a song is specified. Today, I decided to try and find the solution. When trying to log onto the forum, my password was rejected. I find this odd since I keep all my passwords in a file and typically copy and paste them. After several attempts I tried the "forgot my password" solution. Igigbook emailed a new password.
It would not, however, accept the new password for me to logon. After a few attempts, instructions were to contact the administrator and a link was provided. I clicked on the link as was greeted with a message that said the Administrator link had been discontinued.

Seems similar to the pyramid scams where you get ripped off and then the scoundrels disappear into the night!

It will be interesting to see whether there is a reponse to my plight or whether this post just disappears from the forum

Oh, please let me add one more issue that just occurred. This message was rejected with the excuse that my Username is already in use. Seems like these guys excel at creating a new "Catch 22". Won't allow me to logon with a Password they just provided and won't let me post a message with my Username, because it's already registered to me.

When you initially register through the app, it creates two logins:

1. A login for

2. A login for this forum

If you use the forum software to reset your password, you effectively have two passwords because the forum software uses it's own database.

The lost password feature supplies you with your log in credentials for

Ripped Off? Pyramid scam?

If you're having a bad day, don't take it out on us.
