Hands Free Page Turner App for iGigBook
Phil, I'm home now. And...we've made progress. If I turn airplane mode on for both devices and keep everything on in the settings for both, the pager does indeed connect. I looked in the connected devices and it lists my iPad and the buttons are green. However, when I push the buttons nothing happens. And I've tried it and they connect with the settings off and with going back out and back into gig set viewer but still no page turning.
The only time I've seen no pages turn is when there is only one page in a score or if you're on the last page of a score or a book. What happens when you tap the bottom of the screen, does the page advance?
ok. I'm seeing that the issue is deinfitely not your pager app. Its the format I have everything set. You're correct in your last assumption. My scores are only 1 page long. I was under the impression that the pager would also advance to the next song on the set list. Is there a way to format it to do this? I have multiple files for one song. I have a horn part and then I need to switch to a vocal chart upon completion of the horn riff and then back and forth. Thus, the horn chart is 1 pdf file and the vocal is a 2nd pdf file. On the oaccasion that the horn chart is 2 pages, the pager app does indeed work and turn the page.
Create set list with each 1 page chart as a set list item and then email the set list to yourself and a PDF will be created with all of the items in one PDF. Use the Open In feature to pull the emailed PDF into iGigBook and you should be good to go.
