Link a specific audio file to a sheet

Post by jazaddict » Thu Dec 22, 2016 5:49 pm

When I open "that page" the mp3 I built as a backing track, or an exercise track is available to play.

There would be a play/stop/ff/rew on the title bar that appears when a file is linked.

You could use the same sorta code that saves annotations.

Doesn't have to "know" what song it is across all books... Just "that" sheet in that book.... And if I want, I could manually assign the single audio file to all occurrences of the sheet.

If that already exists please slap me around and link to the instructions ;)

Excellent.... Works very nicely.... And I did not understand that feature, thank you

So if there could be a way to semi-permanently link one song to one sheet so that when the sheet opens from the book, or search, .... In addition to and separate from this existing audio-file search... That'd be great (office space voice)

This is very cool.... I can get done what I need, but it's a an economy of clicks I'm wishing g for.

The economy of clicks comes in the planning and this feature is all about the planning. If a person is using this in say a solo gig situation they have planned exactly what track they want played when a song is selected. This is achieved by tweaking the name of the set list entry to get a specific track or a set of tracks that are relevant and by thinking about and naming your tracks accordingly.
