Hi Phil,
I'm a sax player and have a number of Real Books in C, Eb and Bb and the files have all been linked so I can change between the various books using the "Key" icon. However, when I add a song to a setlist, only the C version is added....even if I was viewing the Bb or Eb page when adding the song. This behaviour just doesn't seem right to me i.e. I'd have thought that whatever page I was viewing (whether C, Bb or Eb) would be added. What am I doing wrong?
Cheers
Gary
Adding transposed PDF versions to setlist not working

Re: Adding transposed PDF versions to setlist not working
From my tests, this is working correctly. I view a song, change the key to Bb, Eb, or Bass, add the song to a set list and the set list entry reflects that the song is the Bb, Eb or Bass version and when I select that item I get the Bb, Eb or Bass version of that song.

Thanks Phil. For some reason it's now working. I didn't do anything other than come back to the app the day after posting my original question. Weird.
Re: Adding transposed PDF versions to setlist not working
Hi Phil
I'd just like to re-visit this topic as the iGigBook behaviour in my OP is happening again.
My default transposition (in iGigBook's iOS settings) is Bb as I primarily play tenor on gigs. All of my Real Book transposed versions are linked and I also create setlists for the C instruments in my band. If I search for a song, open it and then transpose it to C in order to add it to my C instruments setlist, only the Bb version is added to the setlist. I've checked this many times over the past couple of weeks and it always happens. Is this normal behaviour when the default setting is anything other than C?

Re: Adding transposed PDF versions to setlist not working
Currently yes, this is how it's working. If you set a default transposition other than C everything you add to a set list will be in the transposition that you selected. We'll look into it but currently this is the way it is working.

Re: Adding transposed PDF versions to setlist not working
Ah ok. I'm not going nuts after all. It'd be fantastic if you could possibly change this behaviour when adding songs to setlists if your default transposition is other than C. It's a real pain in the butt for transposing players because I have to keep going backwards and forwards to the iOS settings to change the default transposition when creating setlists for various band members.
Thanks heaps.
