You don't, 1.95 is no longer available.

Can I do it from a backup ?

I have 3 ipad 1's I use for my band, it was just a year ago I wiped one of them and restored from a backup, can I not still do that?

If the app is part of the backup, yeah that should work, but that version is no longer available from the App Store. You should be able to make a backup from one of the devices and restore it to another.
