Re: How To Get Version 2.65 To Load - REVISED
As I have indicated previously, Icon view has never worked, either in this version or the previous one. I have never seen icons, only the book list. After reinstalling, it always has icon view on by default, and changing the setting has never had any effect. I'll try to remember about not leaving th...

Re: How To Get Version 2.65 To Load - REVISED
Ok, reinstalled and started up in guest mode. Book indexes loaded without login. What would you like me to do?

Re: How To Get Version 2.65 To Load - REVISED
Ok, did that. Same thing. It caused iGigbook to open for a second before the usual crash. I once again deleted and reinstalled the app to see if I could determine at what point it fails. I didn't copy any books or any other files to it. It runs up until the point where I log in and it syncs the book...

Re: How To Get Version 2.65 To Load - REVISED
IGigbook is not shown in the list of apps that will open it from the mail app. However, I did essentially the same thing by attempting to open the file from another source i.e. Drobbox on my iPad. The.xml file doesn't bring up iGigbook in the list of openable apps, although a single pdf does. Openin...

Re: How To Get Version 2.65 To Load - REVISED
How do I open the file in iGigbook? I have it in my email app on the iPad, but there is no way to direct iGigbook to open it from there. What am I missing? Edit: I also tried storing the file to my Dropbox account, and attempting to open it from there, but iGigbook is not among the apps that can ope...

Re: How To Get Version 2.65 To Load

Re: 2.65 won't run on iPad2
Didn't work for me. After following those steps exactly, it's still crashing like before. In fact,I have never even seen the icon view displayed. After I did the update originally, it came up in the list view for a second, then crashed. Changing the setting to list view had no effect, no mater what ...

Re: 2.65 won't run on iPad2
Ok, I followed the steps as you said, and everything worked. Sync ok, all normal. But tempting fate, I wanted to see what happens when the app is swiped out of the "suspended" tray. It wouldn't work again after that. Crashes every time. That means it won't be reliable enough to use on a gig. I will ...

Re: 2.65 won't run on iPad2
Although it appears to be a repeat of what I did previously, I'll do the steps as you instructed. One thing, though, Since I have "exceeded my number of synchronizations" during my previous attempts at fixing this, will the server allow me to proceed, or must I wait until tomorrow? I don't even want...

Re: 2.65 won't run on iPad2
I have, of course, done this many times already. That's the first thing I would do if an app is acting up. It makes no difference. Reinstalling was a desperate last-ditch attempt at getting it to finally run. Did that several times too, which was a waste of several hours of my time. I think I have b...
