Re: renaming files and book indexes

I have the file imported successfully, my only problem now is the "ghost" entries in the list that I can't erase. touch-and-hold doesn't bring up the file menu like it does on other files. One difference I notice that might be a clue: those entries doen't include the file type extension ".jpg"., as ...

Re: renaming files and book indexes

I do sometimes at files that have been stored on Google Drive, sometimes from a folder that is owned by someone else and share to me. Sometimes those files have a read-only status set. Can any case, I have gotten the file into igig book properly. My only problem now is the remaining “ghost“ entries ...

Re: renaming files and book indexes

Thanks for your help, When I press and hold on other filenames, I get the File Action menu, but on these, the file just disappears from the list with no prompt. If I touch but don't press, it gives the filename and says 'not found, please COPY this book to your device". "Bring_Me_Sunshine Not Found....

Re: renaming files and book indexes

Another strange thing--when I renamed the file "Bring Me Sunshine" to "DON'T Bring Me Sunshine", it did the same thing--said it was not found, I needed to add the book, and showed it as zero pages. There are now about 6 backup copies of "Bring Me Sunshine", and 3 copies of "Don't Bring Me Sunshine" ...

Re: renaming files and book indexes

When I delete them by pressing and holding the filename, they disappear from the list (without any "are you sure" prompt), but they come back when I rescan. Also, they show "0 pages", which makes me think they are not copies of the original file. Also, the title (i.e. the filename without the datest...

Re: renaming files and book indexes

Thank you, I have worked around it and now have the file in My Scores. There is a lingering problem--whenever I rescan My Scores, the title, along with several backup copies show up with the date stamp showing "0 pages". I can get them off the screen by pressing and holding, but they come back whene...

renaming files and book indexes

I added about a hundred songs/pdfs to "unindexed scores". Later I created a book of those pdfs and an index and bulk uploaded that. Now when I try to access one of those songs, it says it is not found, "please copy this book to your device". I have since deleted all the song entries for that book, a...

Re: Csv format for bulk upload

Solved it--when exporting from Open Office Calc spreadsheet, there is a default option to "save cell content as shown" that exports the number formatting as well as the numbers. Unchecking this creates a .csv file that is formatted properly.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Csv format for bulk upload

Is a “dumb“ text editor like notepad the only program that can make the upload files? If I have a spreadsheet with four columns, one for each of the four sections of an index entry, I can save in CSV format. Are you saying that a spreadsheet program can’t generate proper bulk upload files?

Csv format for bulk upload

I am working on using 0CR for creating CSV files for the bulk upload. The 0CR program I am using doesn’t automatically recognize multiple columns. I take an image scan of the table of contents for PDF facbook, overlay a grid to make it look like a table, and then try to get it into a spreadsheet for...
