New book missing in index to link list

I managed to create a custom book but when moving sheets from my scores to that book, I was only able to move one score. The second score I tried to move did not show my new book in the "select index to link" dropdown

If you create a custom index you can then link a single PDF to it. Did you create two indexes or one? You seem to be saying one and then you want to assign multiple scores to it. That you cannot do unless you combine the scores into a single PDF.

OK. Thanks. I thought individual pdfs populated the index. I think I got it now
1 put all scores into 1 pdf,
2 Create book, add songs-assign score name, page loc, #of pgs , composer in the index on the server
3 link index to complete pdf

This is true but you do not need to create an index especially if you have just a few scores, you could also add a group of them to a set list and think of it as a binder of sorts.

thanks for the help. I used a new book as it was 46 songs. It still would not allow me to pick the new book even though I deleted it and started again. All was well after I changed the code. Working fine now
