cpomnibook index not found

Post by janvansantvoort »

Hi,
I tried to add the Charlie Parker Omnibook to my book list, but I can't find the index, whatever I try to sync. Can someone add this to my list or can I do this myself somehow?

Same for jazzltd... Are there more indexes available that I can't seem to access?

But sorted on book index code, so cpomnibook should be there.

That would have been useful in the original post. It should be there now.

I literally spent hours trying to get my books to sync with the indexes. Used trial and error, linking and unlinking. TERRIBLE So here’s my method now- use it if it helps. You need two devices, one with the igig list of songs and the corresponding page number. I use goodreader for my pdf, i open the pdf and use the edit to put into grid format. I compare the page number on the grid layout on the pdf to the page number on the igig index and quickly see if a tune is off, usually by a page. Then i insert the page as needed, going through the entire list of songs. Sometimes you have to do an initial offset to begin with but once you have that offset in mind it flows pretty easily. When done, and the new version is saved, unlink the book from igig and relink the corrected version and voila. I literally spent hours before i realized all this. Maybe it’s been spelled out here before and if so sorry for the repetition. I’m a new igig user.
