What's Been Fixed:

A lot of code has been reviewed and re-worked in some cases to prevent possible crashes. If you've been having an issue with the app, hopefully some of these tweaks will correct that for you.

Could you post the URL to download iGigBook 2.51, please?
I have uninstalled/ reinstalled 2.5 THREE TIMES over the weekend and always took ages to find the app.
Also, have you fixed the resizing bug in the editing section?

The update is always available via the app store app on your device.

If you drag from the bottom right hand corner of a note while in note edit mode, the note re-sizes, if you want to move the note drag from anywhere but the bottom right hand corner.

I've just installed 2.51. It crashes when selecting a song.
Thanks to Dafith's work-around (have you thought about offering him a job?), I can at least open 2.51, but the original problem from 2.5 persists .
As a pro pianist, how much more uncertainty and unreliability can I take?

Actually, I mentioned this work around to you prior to dafith mentioning it.

What I would do is upgrade to iOS version 7.1.2, version 7.1.1 did have a number of bugs that affected a number of apps including some of Apples own apps.

2.5 still crashes on a regular basis, despite my recent IOS upgrade.
What we have here is a patently unstable and totally unreliable product. Yet again, iGigBook came close to completely wrecking a concert I was giving today because it refused to open.
As soon as I have finished uploading my songs to FORSCORE, I'll be saying goodbye to iGigBook forever.
IGigBook: a total waste or time and money.

Hi Phil,

I too am experiencing crashes when selecting songs.
I'm up-to-date on both the APP and my iPad OS.

I love the software...but have been caught twice now in performances with crashes.
I've had to power down and restart the iPad in both instances - NOT a practical workaround.
I'm disappointed that I've lost money on this product...
Is Forscore then my only option?

I posted earlier about the crashes...have to restart iPad in order select songs without a crash.
Eventually, however, the APP resumes to crashing and I'm returned to what I THOUGHT was the desktop.

Just now I realized that I wasn't actually at the desktop, but at the multi-tasking bar where APPS can be opened and closed.
After pressing the HOME button twice, I found iGigbook still OPEN.
Here, I was able to select songs without the APP crashing.
It's as tho the interface crashes but the APP is left somehow running in the background...

Maybe this helps in troubleshooting?

We'd love to offer a solution to your problem but unfortunately this isn't something that we can reproduce. You may have a set of unique circumstances that's giving rise to this issue. We're all for quickly fixing problems but if we can't reproduce a problem we can't realistically address that problem. If you have found a workaround I would use that and we're sorry we can't offer you any other solution than that.
