iPad Pro 2.9 4th Gen / iOs 15.5 / iGigBook V8.3 Screen Goes Very Dim

The screen goes extremely dim after a fairly short time period. It's never done that in the past. Is anyone else seeing this?

We aren't seeing this behavior.
