Last gig, two crashes.

Details: iPad Air2; iOS 8.1.3; model MGKL2LL/A; airplane mode on, background refresh off. IGig details: 2.66.2,

While I was in Set List Manager and adding songs -- blink -- IGig vanished from the screen and I was looking at the home screen.

I went back to IGig, though, and finished out organizing the songs for that night.

Later that night, mid song IGig got pouty again and winked off on me, leaving me with the home screen to look at again.

I'm not using any of the books, although I've downloaded a few. I'm using PDFs of my own creation containing lyrics and some prompts that I have inserted here and there. I couldn't tell you which song it was. There's no time or way to make any note of that.

Any fix on this yet or coming? The apparent randomness of it, both in my case and those of others, and your inability to observe it through reproduction of it, is perfectly mystifying to me.

Thanks in advance for help, thoughts, observations, or suggestions.

Similar to some of the others, but would like to register my concern and serious caution to anyone relying on this product for an actual gig.

I had been using the iGigBook on ipad air 2 for a couple of months. Last night, right before leaving for a gig, I was making small changes to a large Set List (around 800 entries). When I went to use the set list, the application completely folded.

Worse, every attempt at reopening it flashed one screen, then immediately folded again.

I rebooted the ipad, but nothing changed. I did not have time to try reloading everything from iTunes. So what assistance I had for the gig I got from a paper compilation and iRealPro, which has never exhibited this sort of problem.

What you are describing does not seem in any way to be similar to the problem discussed in this thread. I'm assuming the last screen you were own before you closed the app was the Set List Manager and there is a problem with the very large set list you have created. Most users creates set lists of less than 100 items, the average being the number of songs one typically would do in a one hour set. There are two ways to resolve the problem that you have experienced.

1. If you have access to iTunes, you can connect your device to it and go to the file sharing section for iGigBook and delete the appstate.plist file which will open the app up in the Book List View and then you can navigate over to the Set List Manager to see if there's an issue with your set.

2. You can email yourself a single page PDF file and open it using iGigBook which will open the app in the My Scores View.

You can always as for assistance on this forum and you will be helped within 24 hours, or you can send us email.
