Although it appears to be a repeat of what I did previously, I'll do the steps as you instructed. One thing, though, Since I have "exceeded my number of synchronizations" during my previous attempts at fixing this, will the server allow me to proceed, or must I wait until tomorrow? I don't even want to try this if I can't sync up.

Thanks,
Jerry

I know that these may seem like steps you have already taken but the order is important. You will be able to sync, it's either going to work or it isn't, meaning repeating it won't change anything.

Ok, I followed the steps as you said, and everything worked. Sync ok, all normal. But tempting fate, I wanted to see what happens when the app is swiped out of the "suspended" tray. It wouldn't work again after that. Crashes every time. That means it won't be reliable enough to use on a gig. I will perform your procedure again tomorrow so I can use it at rehearsal, but it's a temporary workaround, as the underlying problem still exists.

I do want to thank you for providing a path to getting it going, at least temporarily. I hope the issue can be fixed permanently soon.

We've had the opportunity to investigate this a little further and have a better short term solution that's outlined in the first post:

We have an iPad 2 that crashed after install, but taking the steps outlined in the above post allowed the app to eventually load.

Didn't work for me. After following those steps exactly, it's still crashing like before. In fact,I have never even seen the icon view displayed. After I did the update originally, it came up in the list view for a second, then crashed. Changing the setting to list view had no effect, no mater what sequence in which it was done.
