Hi Phil

So what more can I do to debug this?

In the email view there are two options: View and Save. Which should I do? If I hit View, it opens iGigBook as below. If I hit Save, it stores it to a folder called Download (not igigbook) and does NOT open iGigBook.

So, I open the email, view the attached .igbset file, iGigBook app opens in Gig Set Viewer, but the set list is not there, just old stuff (e.g. recently viewed scores).

Is there something else I am supposed to do?

Also, when I look in the igigbook folder, the .igbset file is not there, so has it been stored somewhere else (probably Downloads as above). Or has it failed to store it? Is that the problem? Do I need to redirect the save to iGigBook somehow? Or move the one in Download to igigbook folder?

My tablet is set up with a gmail account and consistently adds the set to my existing sets. With gmail there is no view option, you can either download the attachment or add it to your google drive.

This is not my tablet, as you know. Jimmy also uses gmail, but via the Email app.

I used the .igbset file saved by the android email app from Downloads to igigbook folder, but still nothing.

What needs to happen to make it appear in iGigBook app?

Might there be benefit in reinstalling iGigBook? Would I lose any data if I did that?

Uninstalling isn't going to fix whatever problem you're having. Try using the gmail app, that's what I'm using.

Phil

I cannot believe it, but using the Gmail app made it work! I can now see the imported set list. And all the songs are available except for the ones in the free transposable charts, because Jimmy had not enabled this. Odd that the default email app does not work!

Thanks for all your help. These Android tablets are dodgy things!
