Set List Manager Very Odd Behavior

Post by vivalajazz » Fri Dec 16, 2016 9:54 pm

I was moving sets to different places in the set list manager. The moved set would not fall between two sets when released, rather, it landed on top of another set, the two sets seemed to merge, the names of both sets displayed on the same line in the set list, one written on top of the other.

I dragged on of the sets trying to separate them, but when releasing that set another two sets combined in the same way, apparently randomly. I did this several times trying to resolve, but got the same result each time.

I closed the app, removed from memory, opened the app, repeated that. I restarted the iPad and repeated that. Eventually, the set list began to function normally. However, the contents of many sets had been replaced with the contents of other sets. I was able to use my backups to get the correct songs back in the correct sets, it took me some hours to do this.

The green "+" New Set item was included in the malfunction. It is now named the same as one of my sets. I cannot seem to rename it. Tapping it will allow adding a new set

The New Set item changed to a red icon and appeared as a normal set in the set list. I renamed it and eventually deleted it to see if it would reproduce itself in the proper format. It did not.

How can I prevent this from happening again? How can I retrieve the green "+" New Set item?

Thank you,

Greg

What version of iOS do you have installed on your iPad?

The functionality that you see is built in to iOS, this isn't something we created...I've never seen items stay superimposed over each other, any attempt to do so causes them to move out of the way with the exception of the "+ New Set List" item at the bottom.

Ok. Thanks. I just noticed a new iOS update for iPad, I'll try that.

How would I retrieve or replace the "+ New Set List" Item? It is there, but acquired the name of one of my sets.

Thank you, Greg

In the Book List view the first item is titled "NEED HELP? TAP HERE!", when you select that item there's an item titled: "* Need To Contact Us?", select it and use the email address listed there.

You can also select the Heart icon and select "Contact Us", which will show you what the email address is. You won't be able to add the file requested using this method, it's only mentioned for you to acquire the email address.
