How do i re-Page my pdf?

I want to make sure the pagination of two pdf fake books match (C and bb editions)

For the first set of pages of one pdf (the Master, working Indexed book, C), it is numbered like i,ii iii,iv etc before regular numbers i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4 etc
The one I want to true-up to the Master is numbered with regular numbers i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4 etc right away (beginning of pdf)

How do I re-paginate (in Acrobat Pro) the second pdf to match the master? I know how to add Blank pages if necessary but I think I need to get the page numbers to match in the beginning at least.

thanks

Yes, I had read that in the Help file and that certainly shows me how to use a single index with multiple transposed pdfs but my question is actually about the pagination of said pdf as it displays in Acrobat Pro.

The iGigBook help file doesn't cover that. And I believe as long as the pdf is not in sync as far as Page 1 (versus Page i) it won't sync correctly in iGigBook.

As far as I can tell, Acrobat treats pages i,ii,iii,iv etc as before actual pages 1,2,3,4 etc.

I'd like my two pdfs to have the same pagination.

The only thing that matters is that the number of pages prior to the first song are the same. The Acrobat stuff you'er citing only matters in Acrobat. In iGigBook to use the Single Index System you need to make sure that the number of pages prior to the first song are the same. If there's 10 pages prior to the first song in the C PDF there needs to be 10 pages prior to the Bb PDF and 10 pages prior to the Eb PDF.

Re-page/numbering in Acrobat Pro was useful in order to sync up PDFs easily visually (in thumbnail view) between C, Bb and Eb versions of the New Real Book over 3 volumes.

It’s a lot of work but now all of my transpositions are in sync across 3 keys/3 volumes.

You can't use the Single Index System with the New Real Books because the C versions and the Bb/Eb versions of the book are different.

Mine is working for some reason perhaps because I lined up the pages. Works for C, Bb, Eb - Vol 1 and vol 2, so far. Vol 3 soon (I hope)

I don’t suppose you would consider making the re-paged Bb and Eb New Real Books available, would you?
