I lost my pdf’s annotations

Hello,

I was trying to use the Rename feature In the pop up menu and I think I must have tapped the Delete Option, which is right next to it, by mistake, with a slight misplacement of my finger.

That pdf had some important annotations on it that are therefore not on the original copy on my hard drive. So based on another post:

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2281&p=8883&hilit=A ... eted#p8883

I decided to do a full iPad restore from iCloud backup. After I did that I found that the notated version was back. But some things in my iGigBook library were not right so I synchronized with the server. But after that the pdf with the annotations disappeared and it’s back to being raw.

At this point is there a way to get things back working properly again?

Sorry, there's no way to help you with that. If you're going to restore from a backup it should be a backup where you copied the files from the iGigBook Documents folder to a folder on your hard drive which enables you to copy all files or a single file. Unless you know exactly which files are in an iCloud backup you are taking a chance that results in your current situation.
