PDFs not showing up in My Scores on Android

I have igigbook on both ios and android. Works fine on ios. I've copied my PDFs to an igigbook folder I created on my android tablet's internal storage but they don't show up in My Scores. However in My Books it shows some of the indexed PDFs as corrupted. I've deleted and recopied the PDFs but no change. Ideas?

First thing to do is to make sure you are using the current version of iGigBook for Android, that version is 4.9.4A

I just downloaded it from Google Play Store yesterday. About (wrench icon) says version 4.9.4 though, no A. Can I reinstall from Google Play Store without paying another $15?

If you're using the current version, there's no need to reinstall from Google Play. The next thing to check is whether or not iGigBook has file system permissions. If you press and hold the iGigBook icon it should show an "I" icon which should confirm whether or not the app has file permissions.

The only permissions it is asking me for is "storage", which I've allowed. Nothing about file system permissions. It does say no permissions have been denied for this app. This is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ FYI.

Can you access the help topics that are in the first item in the Book List view?

Yes, I can access the health topics via Book List. I did not see a sample pdf, FYI.

Your PDF files may in fact be corrupt. The health topics use PDF files.

The PDFs seem fine, I can open them up on the tablet using a PDF reader.

I wish I could reinstall the app somehow.

What happens when you refresh the My Scores view? Do you get a list of files? What happens when you attempt to open one of those files?
