Phil, I have a Windows 11 machine running the latest Bluestacks emulator and my virtualization is enabled. I am having a heck a time
loading PDF's into igigbook. I have followed all the instructions I can find but they just down seem to work. I am using DropBox as my source for the PDF's. A friend and I have got it to work once but can't seem to get it work a second time to add more books.
Is there a step by step process for Windows you could point me to? Thanks

We don't have any familiarity with this emulator. You will have to figure out how to access the file storage system in the emulator. The emulator documentation should point you in the right direction.Rob Gibson wrote: ↑Sat Dec 03, 2022 3:57 pm Phil, I have a Windows 11 machine running the latest Bluestacks emulator and my virtualization is enabled. Phil, thank you for your response. You say you are not familiar with the Bluestacks emulator. That's fine, is there an emulator that you recommend?

"We don't recommend the use of an emulator." Ok, I only used an emulator because I was told by people who use igigbook (Mac users) that Windows machines needed to 'emulate' the mac to get igigbook to work. To not use Bluestacks is fine with me, it was a pain in the butt anyway. But now I'm stuck. I have igigbook installed and running on my PC but I can't load any of the PDF's (real books) into it.
I have followed the instructions numerous times. Do you have any advice?
Thanks.

Re: Windows Instructions?
The people (Mac users) you are talking to are giving you bad information. iGigBook doesn't run on a Mac and does not run on Windows. It's specifically designed to be used on iOS tablets and Android tablets. You're trying to use the app in a way that wasn't intended. You installed an emulator but have failed to read the documentation that describes how it emulates the Android environment. If it's emulating the Android environment then it must also have a way to make the file system of the emulated Android tablet visible. Contact the developers of the emulator so that they can show you how you get access to the file system of the emulated tablet.Rob Gibson wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 1:56 pm "We don't recommend the use of an emulator."
