How To Download A PDF From The Book List View

If you're using iGigBook 4.0 or greater, you can import a PDF from Dropbox, Google Drive or iCloud. To import from Dropbox or Google Drive you will need to install the app for these storage services on your device. Pressing and holding an index item that does not have a PDF linked to it will display a dialog which will allow you to select which storage service you desire followed by selecting the PDF file you want to link to the selected index.

You have the option of downloading an indexed book directly from the internet if that book is not present on your device. Pressing and holding for 2 seconds an item from the Book List view that has the number of titles grayed out, will display a popup that will allow you to supply a download URL(Uniform Resource Locator or Web Address) for the PDF that matches that index.

The URL supplied must be one that will initiate the download of the PDF otherwise this feature will not work. If you supply the URL to a browser and the PDF is displayed, this is a URL that will work. If the supplied URL requires the entering of information prior to display or download of the PDF, the URL will NOT work.

Note: if you provide an incorrect URL, meaning the URL provided does not correspond to the indexed book, you will need to remove that PDF from the iGigBook Documents folder to initiate a download of the correct PDF by using either of the following methods:

1. Use iTunes to delete the file from the iGigBook Documents folder.
2. Go to and deactivate the index. Sync with the iGigBook server and then rename or delete the file in the My Scores view.
